Houseparty is a group video broadcasting application from the developers of Meerkat. Houseparty is a mobile application with which users can organize group video chats (for example, between a group of friends). The developers themselves call Houseparty a "synchronous social network".
The Houseparty app has unique options with games and quizzes for the general entertainment of the users. If you want to join a chat in Houseparty quickly, just swipe up and see all the recent dialogues and contacts. Houseparty is available for a maximum of eight people to call because it is more for friends and family but not for large workgroups.
To register, tap the app, and follow the onscreen instructions which are easy to maintain. You will have to fill out quick info about you and choose a creative username. Once you've chosen the username, it's time to add to the service your contacts. You can manage it through your phone's contact book, and Facebook or Snapchat. Houseparty automatically selects your contacts and friends who are already registered and add to your app contacts.
The application is aimed primarily at the younger generation, navigation in it is largely similar to Snapchat. Everything located on the main screen and easy to reach even if you use it for the first time. The plus sign in the upper-right corner allows you to find contacts and create a Home Party group calls. Below it is the dice icon link to some of the games available at Houseparty, such as Quick Draw game and the Ellen DeGeneres by Heads Up game.
You can download the Houseparty app on any Android or Apple device accordingly through the Google Play Store or the App Store. It is available on Android, iOS, iPad, and macOS. Houseparty also has an app for Google Chrome with a browser.
